META-CONCEPT
L’intenzione è quella di fondere elementi naturali commestibili a materiali inerti e che non appartengono propriamente alla tavola: le spezie con il gesso e il cemento. Polveri dai cromatismi accesi e dai profumi intensi; pigmenti caldi che raccontano di mondi e tradizioni lontane; ingredienti che arricchiscono con odori, sapori e colori. Oggetti duri, resistenti, coriacei, ma più “umani”, più “amici”.
Our purpose is to combine natural edible elements to inert materials that do not properly belong to the kitchen world: the spices with plaster and concrete. Spices are dusts characterized by bright colours and strong scents, warm pigments that tell of distant worlds and traditions; ingredients that enrich with smells, tastes and colours. Our objects have to be hard, resistant, tough, but also “human” and “friendly”.
